    A new Samsung device has been announced by Sprint and will be known as the 'Replenish', which is considered to be a "green" phone. The Replenish is an environmentally friendly Android handset that is partially made with recycled materials such as plastics and is packaged in recyclable materials as well.

    The Sprint's Samsung Replenish SPH-M580 will come with these following features: a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, access to Sprint ID Pack (including Green ID pack), 2MP camera, 600MHz processor, a 2GB MicroSD card pre-installed and will run on Android 2.2 Froyo, but has not been mentioned if it will be upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread at this time.

    Spring customers can expect to see the launch of this 'green' phone around May 8th, for a price of $49.99 on contract, with these three color version: pink, black, blue, in which the pink will only become available in June.
