Enabling Wi-Fi Connectivity and Joining a Wi-Fi Network:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
  2. Select "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
  3. Drag the "Wi-Fi" switch to the right to enable Wi-Fi
  4. Select the desired network in the list of detected Wi-Fi networks
  5. If prompted, type-in the selected network's password then press "Connect"

Note: Password protected networks are easily recognized by their lock icons.

Adding Wi-Fi Networks:

In case you have followed the steps above but the desired network does not appear in the list, then you can add it manually by doing the following:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon and select "Settings"
  2. Tap "Connections" and then "Wi-Fi"
  3. Make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled
  4. If the desired network is not in the list, tap "Add Wi-Fi network". The button is located at the bottom of the list
  5. Type-in the "Network SSID", select the security type and type-in the password if required.
  6. Press "Connect"

Forgetting a Wi-Fi Network:

Forgetting a network will prevent your smartphone to automatically connect to it once in range. To forget a network:

  1. Access the "Settings" menu
  2. Tap "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
  3. Access the list of detected networks
  4. Select the desired network from the list then press "Forget"

Accessing Various Wi-Fi Settings:

While in the Wi-Fi settings screen, pressing the "Menu" button on your device will give you access to the following options:

  • Advanced: customize Wi-Fi settings
  • WPS push button: allows you to connect to a secured Wi-Fi network with a WPS button
  • WPS PIN entry: enables you to connect to a secured Wi-Fi network with a WPS PIN

To Change the Wi-Fi Sleep Settings:

  1. Access the "Settings" menu
  2. Tap "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
  3. Press the "Menu" button on your device then tap "Advanced"
  4. Select "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep"

To Set Up a Wi-Fi Network Notification:

  1. Go to "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi"
  2. Tap the "Menu" button on your device
  3. Select "Advanced" and tick the "Network notification" option

When enabled, this feature will provide notifications whenever your device detects an open Wi-Fi network.

Bluetooth

Pairing Your Smartphone with Other Bluetooth Devices:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Select "Connections" and tap "Bluetooth"
  4. Press "Scan" and let the scanning process finish
  5. In the list of scanned devices, select the device that you wish to pair with
  6. Accept the auto-generated passkey on both devices to confirm

Sending and Receiving Data Via Bluetooth:

Many applications (such as Gallery) support Bluetooth sharing. In this guide, we'll use the "Gallery" app as an example. In order to take advantage of this function:

  1. Select the image that you wish to share from the Gallery
  2. Tap the "Share" icon and select "Bluetooth"
  3. Select the device with which you wish to share the image
  4. Accept the Bluetooth authorization request on the other device in order to receive the image
