Enabling / Disabling Bluetooth:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Scroll to and press "Bluetooth"
  3. Tap the "Phone" icon to enable or disable Bluetooth

Pairing With Another Bluetooth Device:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button on your handset
  2. Scroll down and select "Bluetooth"
  3. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled
  4. On your other Bluetooth handset, enable BT and make your device discoverable
  5. Select the gadget that you wish to pair with
  6. Verify the passkey and then tap "Yes" to accept pairing
  7. Accept the pairing on the other device as well

Enabling / Disabling Emergency Alerts:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Applications settings"
  4. Select "Messaging"
  5. Scroll down to and select "Emergency alert settings"
  6. Tap the "Emergency alerts" drop-down menu
  7. Select one of the following options: "All alerts on", "Extreme alerts only" or "Presidential alerts only"
  8. Press the "AMBER alert" drop-down menu and select either "On" or "Off"
  9. Tap "Save"

Enabling / Disabling GPS for the Camera Application:

  1. Tap the "Camera" key
  2. Tap "Setup" then access the "Settings" tab
  3. Press the "Down" arrow to vew more options
  4. Tap "On" or "Off right next to "GPS connection"

Enabling / Disabling Data Roaming:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Select "Applications settings"
  4. Tap "Data roaming"
  5. Select either "Enable" or "Disable"

Enabling Disabling Airplane Mode:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Phone settings"
  4. Scroll to and press "Airplane mode"
  5. Select either "On" or "Off" to enable or disable Airplane mode

Select a Wireless Network Manually:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Menu" button
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Find and tap "Network selection"
  4. Touch "Default setup"
  5. Select "Manual"
  6. Tap "Select" and wait for your device to stop searching for networks
  7. Select the desired network from the list
