Contact Management
Adding a Contact:
- While viewing the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
- Open "Contacts"
- Go to the "Contacts" tab and tap the "Add Contact +" icon
- Select the location where you wish to save the contact: "Device", "SIM" or "Add New Account". (Note: for "Add new account", follow the on-screen prompts to log into your account
- Press the "Name" field and type in the contact's name
- Enter any other additional information as you see fit, and tap "Save" when ready
Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SD Card:
- While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Open "Contacts"
- Go to the "Contacts" tab and press the "Menu" button
- Select "Import / Export"
- Choose one of the following options:
- To Copy Your Device Contacts to the SD Card:
- Tap "Export to SD Card"
- Press "OK" to confirm
- To Copy Your SD Card Contacts to Your Device:
- Tap "Import from SD card"
- If necessary, in the "Save contact to" pop-up menu, select where you wish to save the contact
- If there is only one contact file stored on your SD card, the contact will be automatically copied
- If there are two or more contacts stored on the SD card:
- Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
- Tap "OK"
- If required, select the desired contact file (vCard file) and then tap "OK"
- To Copy Your Device Contacts to the SD Card:
Importing / Exporting Contacts from the SIM Card:
- From any of the home screens, press the "Apps" icon
- Tap "Contacts" and go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Menu" button
- Select "Import / Export"
- Perform one of the following sets of steps:
- To copy your device contacts to the SIM card:
- Press "Export to SIM card"
- Tap "Select all" or select each contact individually
- Tap "Done" and then press "OK"
- To copy your SIM card contacts to your device:
- Tap "Import from SIM card"
- Mark or unmark the check box associated with the contacts that you wish to add, or tap "Select all"
- Tap "Select all" or select each individual contact that you wish to copy
- Press "Done"
- To copy your device contacts to the SIM card:
Deleting Contacts:
- From any of the home screens, press the "Apps" icon
- Tap "Contacts"
- If necessary, go to the "Contacts" tab. Note: to delete contacts from only a single contact list (such as Google), press the "Menu" button, tap "Contacts to display" and then select the desired contact list
- Press the "Menu" button
- Tap "Delete"
- Mark or unmark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to delete. Alternatively, you can tap "Select all"
- Tap "Delete" and then press "OK" to confirm
Managing Groups
Creating a Caller Group:
- From the home screen, tap "Apps"
- Tap "Contacts" and if necessary, go to the "Contacts" tab
- Tap the "Groups" tab
- Press the "Menu" button and tap "Create"
- Type in the group's name
- Swipe up and tap "Add member"
- Mark the check box associated with the contacts that you wish to add, then tap "Done"
- Press "Save" to create the group
Adding a Contact to a Caller Group:
- While viewing one of the home screens, tap "Apps"
- Tap "Contacts" and go to the "Contacts" tab
- Press the "Groups" tab
- Select the desired group
- Press the "+" icon or press the "Menu" key > "Edit" > "Add member"
- Select the members that you wish to add by marking the corresponding check boxes. Otherwise, tap "Select all" to add all contacts
- Press "Done" and tap "Save" to finish
