Hello, today I smashed my second samsung thanks to the color switch...
My question is what do I need to change to make it work again. I can answer call and everything works, just the screen is black with some lines along it. Do i need something like this:
ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Touch-Screen-Digitizer-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Core-Duos-GT-i8260-i8262-Black-/322294908750?hash=item4b0a46074e:g:gTcAAOSwh2xYAj~u

Re: Repairing screen
This is for a Galaxy Duos GT?
If the screen is just cracked, you can probably get away with just replacing the glass (although this is difficult to do, because you have to separate it from the digitizer) Otherwise you need the whole assembly.

Re: Repairing screen on Galaxy Duos GT
Hey, thanks for the answer.
No that is for Galaxy core.
Its not just cracked screen, but the whole screen is just black with some lines along the screen.

Re: Repairing screen on Galaxy core
I already tried doing it myself and ended up with a bad LCD screen after the repair. I suggest you take it to an affordable repair shop. I got my galaxy repaired at itech wireless on avenue rd.
I believe it is 2019 Avenue Rd.
When i repaired it myself it cost me the screen which i messed up by not knowing how to do the repair. The guy at itech wireless told me that I damaged the digitizer. Anyways, they are good at what they do. their website is itechwireless.ca
They have good prices and fast service.
