The Sanyo 8100 to my experience (hint: I have one...) is not exactly a perfect phone.
Here are some problems:
- Picture quality not sharp enough
- Speakerphone is too quiet and tricky to use
- No Picture Zooming
- Some Ringtones sound bad through the tiny speaker
- Not as much storage memory as my former Sanyo 4900 (512KB vs. 640KB)
- Battery life not impressive
- Have to shout to get people to hear me sometimes (never had to shout as much with my sanyo 4900)
- Ease of use is not that good
Does anybody think I should get a 5300 to replace my 8100?

I have the Sanyo 8100 also. I have never had the problem with people not being able to hear me though. My battery life seems fine I guess it depends on what lengths you use the phone at a time.

its just some of the phones that came into the market first have few problems, you can go into a sprint store and get the upgrade on the software of the phone, and then you will be able to use the phone lot better without having problems. also the picture quality is not "bad" its ok, but you must upload the picture to your Pictures account provided by sprint instantly to get the best out of it.
