Newb saying hello

Hello all, I just renewed my verizon plan and I'm trying out a new Boulder. So far it seems like a decent phone other than the short battery life. The extended battery on their site is out of stock, but hopefully they get some in soon. Today the phone went from full charge to one bar in four hours but I was in a cavern for about two hours with no signal and was taking pictures.

The water resistant part of the phone is the coolest... at work yesterday I filled a jug full of water and dropped the phone in it. Then I called it and answered it It's definitely an odd sound on the other end

welcome to the board, although i shouldnt be saying this, since i'm new too. but i just renewed my contract as well, and got a venus. already dropped it so i have a scratch. oh well...

lol that's the reason for me upgrading to the Boulder. I've already dropped it a few times... I even submerged it in water a few times at work... just wanted to see all the hype was about So far it seems like a good phone. There is a few things they could improve on with it but overall if it holds up like it should I'm happy.
