Hey everyone. So I've had the phone for over a year now, I bought it when it first came out. When I bought it I told rogers I didn't want to pay for the internet. They told me thats fine and to turn off the 3g option in the phone settings. But my phone doesn't have that option. The little 3g symbol kept popping up and I was worried I would be billed for it. Rodgers put an internet "block" on my account. Yet it still connects.

1. I get unlimited free internet. Google, downloads, youtube etc..
2. My usage is shown on my monthly bill.
3. I told them I didnt want it, so they are not charging me for it.
4. They cant shut it off on their end, and I cant turn off 3g in my phone settings.
5. I have no problem with this. But im curious.

I was hoping some techies could help figure out exactly WHY its doing this. So maybe we could keep doing it. If I was greedy I could even tether the phone to my laptop if I wanted too. Although its been working for this long. Everything has its limits. lol
