Create a New Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Access “All contacts”
  3. Tap “+” and select an account with which to sync the contact. Alternatively you can select a different storing method
  4. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
  5. Tap “Done”

Import/Export Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Select to “Import from storage”, “Import from SIM” or “Export to storage”
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

Assign Contacts to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Go to “Widgets”
  3. Drag and drop the “Direct Dial” widgets for an empty area on the home screen
  4. At the prompt, select the contact you want to link with the widget

NOTE: You can repeat the steps above to add multiple Direct Dial widgets for additional contacts on the home screen. You can also drag one Direct Dial widget and drop it over another to create a folder on the home screen.

Delete Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All contacts”
  3. Select the contact you want to remove
  4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Delete”
  5. Press “OK” to confirm

Clear the Call Log:

  1. Open “Phone”
  2. Tap “Menu”
  3. Go to “Call history”
  4. To view more details on a call log entry, select it
  5. To clear the call log, tap “Menu” > “Call history” > “Clear call history”

Create a Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All contacts”
  3. Select the contact you want to use for creating a new caller group
  4. Tap “Create new group”
  5. Enter the desired group name and press “OK”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Go to “All contacts”
  3. Select the contact you want to add to the group
  4. Tap “Edit” > “More Fields”
  5. Tap “Group name”
  6. Select the desired caller group and tap “OK” to confirm
