Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtone and Notifications directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
- Optionally, turn Also vibrate for calls ON or OFF
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the devices on-board storage.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Go to Set ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change Notification Alert Sounds:
- Open Settings
- Go to Sound & Notification
- Access Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification alert and tap OK
