Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC storage
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtone” and “Notifications” directories
  6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”
  6. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s on-board storage.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Go to “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK”

Change Notification Alert Sounds:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
  3. Access “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification alert and tap “OK”
