Does anyone know if it is possile to disable the SE T610 clock screen saver.
If so how?
What is the point of being able to customize the screen saver option if the clock overrides it!!
Thanks

Hi,
I don't think Clock = ScreenSaver.
The screensaver is a ~5-10sec state between the normal status and the clock.
Hope it helps.

I think it is the same case as the T300, you cant basically.
Its annoying, but SE said its something to do with improving battery life, and stopping bright colors from phasing onto the screen or something :-s. O well

yup.. i dun think u can... the main purpose of the clock is to save batt... the screen saver is the 5-10 secs period between the normal status and the clock.
yeah baby

i agree wit the poster there really is no point in having a screensaver if you can't see it. Sony should really include something that allows us to customize this in their next firmware upgrade

I personally like the clock screensaver, it keeps me on track of time.

you could see the time on the t68i without pressing a button, but on my new t610 i'm struggling to see if which is a down point. but the clock is a good idea from what i think!
we are but men........

u cant
u knw wat man... that clock is actually not a screensaver.. that clock indicates that your fone is on standby mode to save more battery... it means the fone is on sleep mode...

thats is correct, it means standby
2 main reasons:
battery life, as u would noice the battery life is shorter in the t610 cause the screen is more drainig than many others (i.e. 256 colour t68i)
(also i think it is strance that they have removed the battery time left indicator in the phone status menu, but thats aside from the point)
and if u leave pics on the phone 2 long it destroys the screen.
but yes it is noticably darker than the old t68 standby clock, strange things me thinks

i don't think the clock sucks though. it saves batt. without it,the batt life might be just 1 or 2 days...
