a450? What is that? Not a sprint phone, maybe your talking about the A460? Well, Sprint's okay, just depends on where you live.

he's right it all depends on where you live. Sprint will work great if you live a big city. Also if you want to get a sprint phone i would suggest any Sanyo model. They have really good reception and the battery life is superb. I own the Sanyo 5300 and although the battery life isn't the greatest it comes with two batteries because of the color screen and built in camera. The phone retails at $400 but if that's too much I would suggest the Sanyo 5150 it looks exactly like the 5300 but it doesn't have the camera feature.

i've had sprint for a couple years now. the service is relatively good. i chose sprint mainly because of the phones. i have been considering switching to at&t because they have nationwide plans that don't require an additional charge for roaming. sprint plans are rather expensive for the minutes included. sprint isn't the most economical choice imo. i will say the vision service seems to be down about 50% of the time i try to use it.

Unless you spend the majority of your time 15 miles or more from a major highway or city, then Sprint is the way to go. Sanyo phones are the best on the market. Right now, the 4900 is at a great price($150, or free for prime customers in certain markets). The Hitachi P300 is also another great performer.

I definitely agree about the needing to be close to big cities or major highways.

sprint is great..but like all services..it's going to be bad in some area..no cellphone provider has perfect service. i have sprint and i love it. in my opinion they have the best phones and they were the originators of the COLOR DISPLAY!!!!
