Non Vision phone on a Vision plan

I have a old non Vision sprint phone. My friend has a Vision plan. I want to know if I give her my phone will it work on her plan?

I have a sanyo8100 dualband camera phone. The ringer doesn't work, vibrater does. The screen sometimes goes white or funky greenish colors. I didn't ever drop it WTF? Anyhoo, can someone give me info on how to Macgyver it myself?
