Anyone work for nextel that can help w/#

So i changed my number and called my friend today to give him the new one but evidently he just changed his number as the old didnt work!, so we have no way to get a hold of each other, is there any way to get his new number as all I have is his old # and his name? thanx for any help sorry if this has been covered before I searched and couldnt find anything related.
