Re: Virgin reception
What do you mean by "mini-tower"? Do you want some type of repeater to improve the reception?

Re: Virgin reception
As far as I know, those devices that Sprint has aren't compatible with Virgin Mobile phones. There are other devices that will work, but they are costly.
The lack of replies might be due to the lack of details in your first post. If you explained the situation a little more there probably would have been a reply sooner.
Did you find another provider that gets good reception in your area?

Re: Virgin reception
I have heard that Virgin Mobile (and other Sprint Mobile Virtual Network Operators) aren't prioritized the same as Sprint, but I don't know if it was ever confirmed. Is it possible that your Sprint phone is roaming? Sprint offers roaming, but Virgin Mobile does not, and that could cause a difference in coverage.
I'm glad you found a provider that is working for you. What phone did you get?

Re: Virgin reception
Those extras definitely can be time consuming. They can be helpful though, because in some situations you might not be able to talk, so text messaging can be helpful. If you ever decide to upgrade your phone, please stop by here at CellPhoneForums.net for assistance, and we will help you find a new phone.
