LG 440 can't web browse

Have an LG 440 and it won't connect to the browser. Could it be poor signal cause I think it runs on Verizon?

Do you get an error after opening the browser? Check to see that you're getting a data signal on the phone. You should see some kind of 3g icon next to the voice signal bars. You may also want to check that data is enabled on your account.

It only says connection failed. Data is enabled on account. And have 3G symbol

Are the APN setting set correctly on the phone for straight talk? Did you get the phone from another provider or through straight talk?

Don't know what APN is. Bought phone at Walmart for straight talk new.

I have read a lot about the Tracfone version of this phone being unable to connect to the web. Could be a problem not only with tracfone, but all of these lg 440 phones? For the tracfone lg 440, it uses either T-Mobile or ATT services.
