Uhm, I'm going to join T-Mobile as of this month, and I am getting a new phone. I was just wondering if anyone knew the best deal on a phone I could get? or which free phone is the best? if anyone knows? which I highly doubt.

what are you looking for in a phone? camera? speaker? bluetooth? basic? or are you looking for a handheld?

    Free phone = Nokia 6010, Nokia 6030
Basic phone, go with a Samsung X495, don't pay more than $40 for one
Basic + Camera, go with a Samsung T309, $60-$70 would be about right
If you want a phone with everything, forget about a free

I'm getting Nokia 6010 soon. I just heard that yesterday. I was looking on t-mobile.com, and I just looked around. Thanks a lot for the help though.

I have a 6010. It is a basic/entry level phone. It doesn't do fancy things like take pictures or flip. But it does have a color screen and can access Tzones. But what it does really well is make calls, has great reception, and the longest battery life of any cell phone I've ever owed.

If you buy from somewhere in europe be sure it has GSM 850 and 1900 for use in the US. And also compare the total cost for shipping.

The best thing is to shop around and look hard... and dunt go into malls, and those other expensive place cus they charge xtra... the best thing is to look into lil small shops... cus the price will be right.. and sometimes they'll have some gsm fones which is not from t-mobile... but can be still use under t-mobile...
