Alright all you T-Mobile fans and friends... have I got some (a little ) info for you. I was in the store today talking with one of my rep buddies, and we were talking about the new Android devices and such, and he told me that the next 3 months are going to be very very surprising for the customers of T-mobile. He wouldn't give me any details, but I told him about a report I put on here, DT buying Sprint, and that it had got squashed. He looked at me and said "Thats not off the table just yet" I was like what?!?!?! Also, he said there was a rumor he heard about TMob buying Metro PCS, but he didn't think it was a good idea. I said is that it, and he was like "I told you more than the boss will let me, so for you, yeah"
I can't freaking wait to see what they have planned for the next few months, and years.
Edit: Forgot this, was to excited about the new phone the wife got (Review coming) he said the Moto Cliq (sp) and another phone, but I forgot which one.
Also, he said the new 3G Blackberry is coming out for T-Mobile in November...

Re: Changes coming
Update to this thread on some more info I was just given.... BoyGenuis (website) had a post from a possible T-Mo employee that stated the upcoming was a thing called "Project Dark" which is them upgrading the network for HSPA+, the new Blackberry 3G, a couple new Android Phones, and a 50/month Unlimited Voice/Text/Data plan for everyone, not just loyal customers. They are doing this to compete with Metro, Cricket, and as a hit at AT&T's new prepaid (starting 10/12) 60/month for Voice/Data/Text plan.
If this is all that comes out in the next 3 months, as my buddy told me, this would be awesome, but I wonder if there is maybe more? Who knows, but 1 thing is for sure.. This will help T-Mo with their customer base if they do it right!

Re: Changes coming
T-MO won't be purchasing Metro PCS.
They aren't an acquireable network by a network like T-Mobile. It isn't because of their technology difference, but because of their "mission". If anyone is to acquire Metro, it will be CriKet...or the other way, Metro grabbing CriKet.
