I need a rugged phone, but T-Mo does not sell a Mil Spec phone.

Motorola and I think Samsung make Mil Spec phones.

If anyone has experience running one of these on T-Mo, I'd sure like to hear about it.

    Thanks!!!

I don't know who all makes them (besides the Moto), but I'd sure like to know if anyone had moved their T-Mo SIM into a ruggedized Mil Spec phone successfully.

I'm on my second Blackberry flip, and I'm willing to trade fancy features for a phone that doesn't die when it falls on a hardwood floor once in a while.

I got my Motorola Tundra unlocked to work with T-Mobile. It's a much better choice than the Samsung Rugby since it has an external antenna which allows the phone to have much better reception than a phone with internal antenna. Phones with internal antenna may look better but the reception is not very good with those phones. I work underground and this is the only phone that was able to pull the signal down there while others couldn't. Besides that, the phone is super tough and well built. The Samsung Rugby is very tough and well built also but if you use T-Mobile then the Motorola Tundra is a better choice.

Motorola is an American phone company, so is Apple. Samsung is Korean, Sony, Sanyo and Ericsson are Japanese and Nokia is Finnish (Finland).
