I got the samsung t139 to use with tmobile's pay as you go plan since it was advertised as being able to send pictures with that plan however that was not the case so heads up tmobile pay as you go customers! This may save you a lot of hassle!

It's a great phone with a loud ringer, loud call volume in the ear and loud while in speaker mode too, but **DO NOT** get this phone if you plan to text or transfer pictures through MMS email messages if you are on a pay as you go plan because texting and MMS are NOT enabled on those plans contrary to tmobile advertising, but are available ONLY on the monthly pay plans of at least $2 a day as confirmed to me by THREE of their customer service reps who first believed it was possible to do but found out otherwise after research! I had to return my T139 phone and buy one that I could transfer pictures with while staying on the pay as you go plan instead of switching to a costly monthly plan to enable picture sending.

The only way you can stay on a tmobile pay as you go plan and be able to transfer pictures from your phone is to your pc so you could then email the pictures from your pc instead of the phone, IF your pc has a Micro SD card reading port, by getting one of their phones that holds a removable Micro SD memory card to save pictures on it, such as their tmobile LG 665 phone listed on their site, along with it's available memory cards shown in the "Accessories" menu of that phone's listing on tmobile's site. I could not find any of it's mem cards on Walmart's site so I'd recommend buying the phone and mem card from T-Mobile since they ship FREE in 1-2 business days! I tried posting the T-Mobile phone link here but it wouldn't allow me since I'm new on the forum.

I bought the cheapest mem card available which is the 4GB memory card for $12, so along with the $49 phone and $4 tax I paid $67 for the phone and mem card, and I'm able to pay $10 per every 3 months on their pay as you go plan to have a cell phone that I can talk on or take and transfer pictures to my pc with. So $67 plus $40 annually for the airtime refill cards and I'm set at a price that can't be beat!

You could also switch to at&t and keep the T139 phone to be able to send pictures by MMS email messages through their pay as you go plan but that would cost you at least $60 more annually on their plan so I'd recommend staying on the T-Mobile pay as you go plan. T-Mobile has great customer service too! I complained to them about the misleading advertising and the hassle and wasted money it caused me driving 40 miles to town and back switching phones because of it and they credited me $20 for my trouble without hassle!

That shows me they value their customers and are willing to make things right so I wanted people to know that. Your results may vary after this date of 8/12 but between Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile I personally found T-Mobile to have the cheapest plan at this time and the calls have been clear with no issues as well.

What phone did you end up purchasing after returning the other one?

I later found out that what I was told and what I posted here was not so. They finally got my t139 phone to send pictures so all is well now. All it took was deleting the original picture messages from the phone, shutting the phone off, then turning the phone back on, and it now sends pictures.

That's good to hear! I'm glad it's working.
