Blackberry (Student 50) to HTC Desire

Hi,

I am currently on the Telus Student 50 tarrif with a Blackberry Pearl Handset.

It is coming to the end of my second year (on a three year contract) and am wanting to upgrade my phone to the HTC desire (the customer support rep said they might give me some cash off if i wait till the end of the year).

My question is: My Student 50 tarrif has unlimited internet - will they let me keep that if i change my phone.

The answer was no - they would swap me to the student 55 tarrif which has 1gb limit... ;(
