    It looks as if Telus will soon have the opportunity to launch the LG Optimus One smartphone according to the phone being spotted on an LG Canada site that was spotted by Mobile Syrup. The statement that was spotted on the LG Canada website listed the LG Optimus One as "Coming Soon November 2010".

    Unfortunately, this is all we know about the Optimus One coming to Telus as of right now. No exact launch date nor a price was mentioned but we can update you on the features of the LG Optimus One. Features will include: Android 2.2 Froyo, a 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480) capacitive touchscreen, a 600MHz processor, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.

    I just picked up one of these phones from telus last night. Tried to get it activated and the telus sight says my numbers are incorrect. So I called and it seems it needs a sim card but no sim card was in the box. So the phone works nicely on wifi so have been able to mess with it a bit. I am not a touch screen guy but it works much the same as his ipod or seems to. Did a bit of youtube vidio and it is amazing how good it looks. The phone feels real nice, has some weight to it so does not feel cheap and has a nice grippy feel to the back.

    I purchased it for my son 15 who just got a job so thought he needs a phone. Will head back to the store today and see what is up with this, I should not have to purchase a sim card for a telus phone on telus network, I believe they charge to activate a sim card as well as charge you to get one.

    I bought mine unlocked at timtechs.com and i agree with you.. its fluid and its very nice... just a tip... tell you son to check out android market for any applications that he need like, step counter, digital compass and many more
