Yeah - they forgot that they sold loads of phones under the deal and needed
to be prepared to process the cashbacks.
Still, they are reliable, even if they are late! ;0)

Still waiting for my initial £35 refund to my account, which was
supposed to go into my account after a month. Started the contract on
September 9th. I'm still waiting for the money. Received a letter from
Customer Relations Executive, after complaining, on December 12th
saying I would receive the money within 2 weeks. More porkies! I have
now cancelled my direct debit to them. I wonder if it will affect my
cashback - I am now due to send in the first voucher!

The direct debit is to the network, not to the retailer, as you didn't buy
direct from the network. You get the cashback from the network's commission
to the retailer for selling you the contract. I would think it would affect
your cashback, as they usually state you have to remain connected for a
certain amount of time.

I think what I am saying is that I couldn't give a **** about the
meagre cashback (£40.03 times 3). I'd prefer to be rid of them and
sign up a third contract with MercuryMobiles instead, where at least
you know where you stand.
