Is there a list anywhere that lists transmitter cell id's ? Would be a
long list I know but a handy one ?
I have a util on my phone that will display the CELL ID - I am on
Three.
I would like to know where the transmitter / cell site is ? Also is
there any cell broadcast infor sent out by Three such as area codes.
Any help please !

No, there isn't.
The sitefinder website maps bases and gives IDs but it is so badly
designed that it is almost impossible to use. To make matters worse,
it tends to be out of date and is frequently inaccurate.

What use would this be to you?
All its gonna give you is the CID of the serving cell. I dont think (cant
remember back that far now) you get a timing advance with any 3g test
software so its not as if you can say that your X distance from a
transmitter.
Surely as there are BTS engineers using this forum then you an address list
of sites is more handy?
You say you would like to know where the BTS is. You cant find this out from
a CID. As UMTS transmitters wil only actually have a fooprint of a few miles
(compared to up to 25 with some 2g kit) you will always be pretty close to
the serving cell if you have 3g coverage.
