Hello,
I am trying to unlock a phone from the Vodaphone network for a friend
and have the code calculator. However, when trying to enter the code,
having pressed #, I cannot get the * key to show "p" or "w" no matter
how quickly I press it. Just shows *. ANy ideas as to what the
problem may be?
Many thanks.

It wasn't a troll, rather a genuine question. I am unfamiliar with
mobiles but ages ago had unlocked one of my phones with a code
starting #pw. I assumed this was standard and had found an alleged
unlock code starting #pw for the GD55. Since then I have found a code
calculator giving start sequences of **000 which has sorted the matter
out
Regards.
