Nokia 6300 with 2GB Micro SD cards and card readers problem

Just picked up a 6300 offline and Nokia site says it can handle 2GB mem
cards - so I buy one and stick it in phone.

However when I want to use it in Mem card slot on both PC and Printer to
load content, NOT pron (it wont show up in My Computer)

So, using another pc I managed to format the card BUT it only formatted 1GB
instead of 2 ;(
when placed in phone it total space 1.9GB - Free space 1.0GB ;(

Managed then to load a few MP3's on the card but the phone had trouble
reading them but eventually did work. Then using the phone I managed to
delete the files but phone was saying they were still on the card.

Took card back and exchanged it but still have same problems.

Do card readers have a limit as to the size they can read? Maybe I will
have to go and buy a 1GB card instead (as pc and printer both recognise
other 1GB cards ie Sony)

I realise that this is more of an issue with the pc/card reader than the
phone itself so can does anyone know of a card reader that WILL read 2GB
micro SD cards

I bought a Sandisk 2Gb with reader for under £20 working fine
