    Hi guys,

Bored of the N73. Had it a year next month.

Was going to go for an N95 but then Nokia announced the N95 8Gb and the N81.
But since the announcement I've heard very little about either handset other
than the entries on Nokia's website.

I'm currently on Orange, but I'm in an 18 month contract. I plan to either
do an in-contract upgrade when I reach 12 months, or simply downgrade to the
cheapest tariff, pay it all off, and bugger off to Vodafone or something.

Anyone know likely pricing and availibility of the new Nokia's? I note
Orange and Nokia are fighting over some sort of music store nobody gives a
**** about anyway, so I do hope this isn't going to end up forcing my hand
with regards to moving away from Orange.

    Ta,

    Michael

Currently with 3 and in need of an upgrade, but don't think too much of
    their current choice of phones.

Carphonewarehouse have the N81 8gb on their website for £250 on O2 PAYG,
which I assume if I go instore for will be able to get an unlocked undranded
    version of.

Intend to then put my 3SIM in the N81 and blag a basic free phone & line
rental reduction from 3, for doing an upgrade, which will balance out the
    cost of the N81.

Can only see the N81 8GB on the CPW site for £279 with 02 PAYG.

Also most phones from O2 are unlock to start with so no need to get
    unlocked.

I was advised by 3 Sales at the start of October that the new N95 8GB would
be available on the 3 network during November, but I've not heard much
    since.

Your right about the price in CPW, but e2save and onestopphoneshop (both
owned by CPW) have it for £259 inc £10 airtime. CPW should match this price
and from a CPW store it should be standard SIM free stock.

I wonder how much they''ll want for the N95 8gb on an upgrade (my current
spend is about £30). The os on the N81 i saw in a video on youtube seemed
    very fast.

I read somewhere that Vodofone have the N95 8GB exclusively until the new
year. You might want to check with 3 sales again.

I was in the Vodafone store in Glasgow at the weekend looking at the new N95
8GB, looks exactly like the old one except its black. Tried to get a play
with it, but the Vodafone Sales staff where too busy taking pictures of all
the females going by the window.
