Been in Prague for a few days and tried to use my UK sim4travel SIM card -
registered with T-mobile OK but attempts to call back to the UK produced a
'we're sorry, you cannot make calls from this number'. Tried manual
registration with the other two networks - one registered but also produced
a 'cannot make calls from this number', the other (Paegas-CZ) did not allow
registration.
Anyone successfully used a sim4travel card in the Czech Republic and which
network there did you use? I checked the card worked here before I went.
(It's a recent +44(0)705 Jersey number not the older +423 Lichtenstein ones)

Forget it. I tried to use sim4travel earlier this year in eastern Europe and
then having failed, concluding that I was just unlucky, in India.
A complete waste of time. CPW did however refund the cost of the card for me
without forcing me to fart about waiting for sim4travel to refund the money.
Be persistent but polite with the shop you bought it from.
It's a flawed service which is too expensive when (or rather if) it does
work.
My card used the +423 ring back system - bloody useless. It was
frustratingly able to connect to a number of networks although it was barred
from connecting to others.
Has anyone actually managed to use the service (outside of testing it in the
UK)?
Gareth.

Re: sim4travel in Czech Republic
Thanks for your reply Gareth, the card was actually a freebie from
expedia.com through whom I made the hotel booking. We didn't take any
other SIM card to phone home but the hotel had free internet for guests
so used that instead!
Needless to say attempting to e-mail dim4travel has not produced a reply!
Reassuring (in a way) to know that I was not alone in it not working.

Re: sim4travel in Czech Republic
Just had a reply back from Sim4travel! They very helpfully [;0)] say that
my phone 'cannot have selected the strongest network' (although all three
were full scale strength) despite my telling them that as well as the
initial network the phone registered with, I had also tried manually
selecting the others with the same result.
So I'm afraid their customer services are a dead loss too....
