    Hi,

I've had my phone for about three months and had no problems. However,
now it connects to the t-mobile data network every 30 seconds or so,
downloads ~45kb data and the then disconnects after about 40sec. I
really don't like the idea of this unknown agent trying to do stuff
outside of my control, plus it really drains the batter.

Is there any way to see what is initiating this connection?

I recently installed CalSync60, but removing that made no difference.
Other than that everything is as I bought it.
    Anyone have any pointers?
    TIA
    Chris

Maybe it hasn't un-installed properly. A hard reset would seem to be the
    next step.

Well, I dunno, but a couple of switch-offs later it has stopped doing it.

I'll try the app again and see if that really is the culprit.
    Cheers.
