Good news for those of you that happen to own the Motorola RAZR i, because according to French owners of the respective device the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update has finally arrived. As most of you are probably already aware of by now, the Droid RAZR M has been taking advantage of this particular Android OS iteration for quite some time now, but the Intel-powered variant was set to receive its update sometime during Q1 2013. A bit vague, but the update is finally here so we don't have to worry about that any longer.

However, if you own the RAZR i and you haven't received the update just yet, keep in mind that at this point in time it seems that Jelly Bean has been launched only in France. It's only a matter of time before the update expands its reaches though, so keep your handset close to you and feel free to perform a manual check from time to time.

As for what the update itself brings, Jelly Bean on the RAZR i is about 300 MB in size and includes a new notification area featuring expandable notifications, Google Now and of course Project Butter under the hood which should make the handset snappier and the animation smoother.

Hopefully this latest OTA release will hit the waves in other regions soon. Good luck and enjoy if you've already updated your RAZR i.
