Unlocked Blackberry 7290 for Fido

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I have purchased an Unlocked Blackberry 7290 from eBay a couple of weeks ago, and I'm getting around to activating the mobile email/internet option.

I went to fido.blackberry.com to register my PIN and IMEI, but I get the following message ...

"This Blackberry is registered with a different service provider. Please re-register this Blackberry and verify the URL matches the one provided by your service provider."

I've tried to figure out how to re-register the Blackberry, but I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

Edit: The original provider was T-Mobile.

hmmm this you might have to take into the shop because the unlock may not have been the full unlock...might wanna call into fido and find out if your data is going to be compatible
