I have a unlocked HTC Touch GSM (Rogers) phone that i am trying to use on Fido network. The problem is that sometimes i am getting the signals and 90% of the time i dont get any Signals but the same sim card works perfectly on the other phone that is locked to Fido.

rogers and fido have different programming and thats the way they want to keep it.. LOCKED...services will never be 100% if it's unlocked..

Hmm for some reason this doesn't sound like a service provider problem but rather a frequency problem. What I would verify is that in the unlocking process your phone hasn't been changed to prefer the 850Mhz. You see North America runs mainly off the the 1900 Mhz network. Some areas run in Mix Mode 1900/850MHz. Intermittent signal problems on an unlocked phone is most likely this problem. Also depending on your phones setup go to the carrier selection and try to use either Fido or Fido3G to see if there is a difference for you.
