I have mine set to autoconnect via BT DUN to Alltel EVDO, which it does
before the bootup splashscreen is over. Then, Devicescape boots at startup
and looks for service it has seen before, or I have entered, or any hotspot
I'm subscribed to on my account. If it finds one, it connects in
background, then transfers the connection to the hotspot off the SELLphone.
Even if it finds nothing, it continues to look every X minutes to see if
you've gotten close to real wifi service and will autoconnect, even
completing those stupid webpage logon forms in background!

All of a sudden you go from 600-700Kbps on the phone to real broadband
without touching a button....(c;

Unless you subscribe through it to a commercial hotspot service, it's
free....

Of course, iPhone and Voyager would have to be able to INSTALL programs for
that to work...sorry.

Cool. Now if they let them drop their $40 voice plan, the'll really have
a good deal. ;-)
