so I've been patiently awaiting something that would be more versatile
than my Kyocera 7135...and have just been about to give up and go back
to a separate phone and pda again after having an all-in-one for 2+
years. The current crop of Microsoft phones just don't do it for
me...and the Pocket PC Phone editions are too big for me and I really
prefer a clamshell design, so that leaves out the Treo 650.

So anyway...I was about to give up, just stay with VZW and go with the
E815 or VX8100 coming out and then find a separate PDA....then I found
specs on the Motorola A780 on phonescoop.com. This phone REALLY looks
like it could be the ticket for me! Touchscreen PDA, Clamshell
design, Bluetooth, Camera, etc.

So...anyone actually using this...would you mind?

1)First and most important...how is the call quality? Clarity?
Speakerphone? How is the reception? Does it pull a strong signal?

2) How stable is the Java on Linux OS? Is it fairly stable or does it
require constant re-booting? Has anyone lost data on a regular basis?

3) Just how big is this phone? Could anyone comment is it
larger/smaller than the Kyocera 7135?

4)What kind of software is available for this phone?

5) Will it sync my contact list with Outlook?

TIA,

John
