I know the Cingular 8125 will be out but as well that some of you may
have used the HTC Wizard as it's called. How does dialing work on
this? When I do dialing do I have to pull out the keyboard each time
to dial a phone number or can I with a button pull up a touch screen
on the 8125 to punch in the phone number. As well, I believe this has
a vibrate mode but I'll also frequently use it with voice dialing.
Does this do voice dialing with or without a bluetooth headset?

I prefer the 8125 but if not may go with a HP6515. How does dialing
work on this? Do you simply punch the keys in on the keypad or bring
up a touch screen? Does this do vibrate as well as voice dialing with
    or without a bluetooth headset.

One last question. The downside of the 6515 to me is no wi-fi. Are
there any plans for a wifi model or is there a card out that would add
    wi-fi to this?

Sorry for all the questions but I want to make the best choice. Thanks
    for any help.

To dial, you push the dedicated 'phone' button. The phone app opens and
displays the touchscreen keypad. You can voice dial with or without a
headset. I think you can also start applications such as outlook or
    internet explorer using voice commands.

Hp has announced the HP6940 which will be available 'late-spring' and will
include wi-fi. I don't know if/when cingular will offer this device.

Yes you can dial using both the methods you just described plus voice
calling. I prefer to select from contacts myself or use the smart dialer.

On the HP6515, I use Microsoft Voice Command almost exclusively
    (you'll have to buy it).

The recommended WiFi card is a mini-sd item from AmbiCom www.ambicom.com
WL11-SD. It is a "B" card that you can get from them or Google for another
source. I bought mine from CompUSA for 69.00.

It comes with the required drivers and the software allows for configuration
of secure WEP & WEP-A protocols. It sticks out of the 6515 about 3/8 of an
inch which is where the antenna is located. I got mine, loaded the software
and plugged it in - worked without any problem. It will also allow a "hot"
    insertion without rebooting.

BE CAREFUL THOUGH, because of the spring loaded socket, it is very easy to
bump it and eject the card. For that reason, I used some monofiliment
fishing line and secured it to the 6515 using the tiny hole in the card,
making a slip-knot loop on the other end of the line and sliding it over the
6515 during transport with the device inserted.

WEP is *not* secure. At best it will only keep honest people honest.
Strongly advise using WPA with a strong passphrase.
