    Hi all,

I bought a P900 yesterday and have loaded Handy Safe and Handy Day,
plus a cool tool called Sman. Thanks to all those that helped out
with the software recommendations here. Oh, I've also loaded a beta
of "Metro" which I found useful on other PDA platforms.

I've got everything working except I seem to be having a problem with
collections of POP3 e-mails. I can't seem to find an option to leave
messages on the server. That can't be right, can it?

If you can help me out with this that would be great. Thanks in
    advance.

    Regards,

The P900 doesn't have an option to explicitly do this, however downloading a
message onto the P900 does not remove it from the mail server (unless you
choose to delete a mail, in which cas it is removed the next time that you
"Get and Send" using the P900).

    Good luck
    Jon

Got my P900 yesterday too. After a few tests my experience is, that it
leaves messages on the server in any case with one exception: If you
delete messages they will be deleted on the server also.

I also couldn't find an option to change this behaviour. If I remember
right it was the same with my old T39m.

    Bye
    Axel

Thanks to Jon and Axel. That was useful.

Now, if I can only unbrand the phone ;-)

    What are Software Patents for?
To protect the small enterprise from bigger companies.

    What do Software Patents do?
In its current form, they protect only companies with
    big legal departments as they:
a.) Patent everything no matter how general
b.) Sue everybody. Even if the patent can be argued
invalid, small companies can ill-afford the
typical $500k cost of a law-suit (not to mention
    years of harassment).

Don't let them take away your right to program
whatever you like. Make a stand on Software Patents
    before its too late.
