I have recently posted some questions for help with possibly unlocking my
ATT T68i. Well, recently I found that sometimes the service on my phone says
"ATT" but then sometimes when in certain places of the city it says
"Tmobile" -does that mean it is unlocked to work with other providers?
thx....Scott

Re: ATT & Tmobile switch back & forth
I think it means you are roaming in an area that ATT has agreements with
T-Mobile.

No, AT&T got into an arrangement with T-Mobile a while ago to help
AT&T get GSM service where their towers were lacking.
You won't get AT&T to give you unlock codes.
