Hi;
Any body tried the P900 Sony Ericsson Update Service?
Does it wipe out all user data, that is when its finished is the phone like
when it is first purchased?
Also about how long does it take?
I still have cold feet to try it.
Thanks

I tried it straight after purchasing and charging the phone up. Yes it does
wipe all data and it is as if the phone was just out of the packaging. You
should do a backup before and then restore the backup after.
It took me about 20-25 minutes all up, I can't remember if this included
downloading the update or not.

Re: P900 update
I had some problems during the upgrade, the java application crashed the SE
website. But when i uninstalled the Java app. it worked fine.
But remember to take a backup when the program ask you to.
Good luck
