Could someone confirm this?
I went and recorded voice commands for 40 different contacts on my P900.
Then I upgraded the firmware which means a backup, upgrade and a restore.
When everything (I thought) was back to normal, I tried to voice dial my
brother. No luck. It turns out all the voice commands I recorded are
gone!!!! WTF???
So since then, I recorded a couple of voice commands, backed up, Master
Reset the thing, restored the backup and the same thing happens. The
funniest is when I go into the Contacts app in FO, when I select the
category drop down and select "Voice Commands" somehow it shows me all the
entries that *had* Voice Commands. None of them do though!
Can anyone confirm this? Or is this just bad luck for me ?
AAAArgh, SE boneheads.
PS: I still love my P900 though.

Re: Voice commands are not backed up
It does actually warn you that all voice commands will be wiped out
and that they are not saved during a backup, maybe this'll get fixed
in a future update...
I agree it sucks, but RTFM.

Re: Voice commands are not backed up
I know but don't you think that the backup should back up *everything*. I
mean, this isn't just when you are flashing. If I had a software problem
right now and would have to hard reset the phone, it would not restore the
voice commandes. Now why backup everything else but not the voice
commands? It seems like a bug to me. I assume there is/are files on the
system containing them. Why isn't that backed up *and* restored? After
all, it keeps track of the contacts that *had* voice commands. How lame is
that?
I stand by the SE bonehead comment.
