Where can I get the S700i Firmware

hello,

is there an upgrade service for the S700i? I have done it with my K700 from
the sony ericsson website but I have not seen the option for the S700?

also how can I check what version of software I have on the phone?

The SE webstite offers upgrade provided you have the cradle, or if you are in the UK, Carphone Warehouse "Quick Repair" centres are able to flash your phone, for free if you're within your waranty, or £30 if outside your warranty. I have contacted them to find out how long it would take (i.e. could they do it if I visited a shop). I will let you know of my experiences.
