Which would give me best pictures off my k750i

I am using the camera in fine mode.

My question is which size would be better for better quality pictures
1632x1224 or 640x480. Is it better off taking them at the larger size and
then resizing them down or is this defeating the object.

take them at the max rez on the camera then resize. should produce a better
quality picture once resized
