Look at what you have now and be proud of it. I do it all the time whenever I feel low.

check out the forums at esato.com and mobile9.com.
You need to debrand and upgrade firmware. Not an easy task for a non
techie. The logo will fall off eventually!

To stop the Camera sounds (auto-focus and shutter) simply put the phone
in Silent mode (hold the # key).

But you can! It involves a firmware upgrade and changing your
language/region set and costs about 10 euros.

No but if you google for davinci team and totalserver you'll find all
that you require. It's not for the faint hearted or non tech savvy.
R1L002 with CDA102337/10 and EU2 pack will allow you to get rid of the
camera sound. I've done it 3 times now. I do believe total server even
has a "remove camera shutter sound" check box on their client these
days!
