[K750i] Update Service

Trying to do this. I get as far as this:

Requirements to perform an update

These requirements must be met in order to successfully update your device.

I have a PC with at least a Pentium 133 processor with 32MB RAM or more - a
Pentium II 233 processor with at least 64MB RAM is recommended.

The operating system on my PC is one of the following: Windows 2000 (SP3 or
higher required) or XP (SP1 or higher required)

I have installed the PC Suite on my PC - the PC Suite can be found on the
CD that came with your product or in the Global Support Area.

I have connected my phone to my PC with the USB cable and installed Update
Service USB driver. - Drivers and install instructions are available from
the Global Support Area.

My phone is switched on
My device is fully charged and the charger cable is disconnected.

But when I click 'Next' The frame goes blank. Nothing happens. Nothing.

I have tried to install the Update Service USB Driver, but it will not
install, just comes up as an error.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Get the latest version of java installed on your machine.

i am having prolems updating my k750i. it goes to the last step and it tells me to switch off my phone then hold down the c key and plug it back into the usb cable and then the update will start. i do that, but the update does not start... what am i doing wrong?

Is this to install the special USN Update Driver? If so, forget it, it
didn't install for me and update worked fine without it.

The final thing I needed was to install the latest JAVA on my PC.

no, its not the driver, its the update service. i meet all the requirements and go to start the update, but after i follow the instructions the update just doesnt work. theres 3 steps, prepare, ready to update, and update. i get to the ready to update step and it just says the update will take less than 20 minutes. then i click next and it tells me to remove my phone from the usb cable and shut it off, which i do. then it says to hold down the C key and plug the phone back in, which i do. then it says the update should start within 20 seconds, but it never starts...
