I wonder if you can help me.
I have a Sony Ericsson V800 mobile phone which has Vodafone software on it,
I think they call it branding.
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the Vodafone software and
revert it back to how Sony Ericsson intended it to be?
Can it be done free?
Could someone please tell me how I can do it or tell me of a website that
tells me how to do it?
I hope you can help me.
I appreciate any help or information given.
Thanks!

I doubt that it can be done.
Sony Ericsson intended it to be sold as branded,
the V of V800 showing it being Vodafone only, methinks!
I see you are from the UK, please mention this,
as the Q could be country specific.

So you should ask your Vodafone UK if it can be done,
if they will do it, and for what price.

You might as well ask them for world peace and a cure for cancer - more
chance of a result. A google of what I have written above is all that is
required. Not free, not easy and not without risk but possible.
