Thanks to everyone for their reply.
Yep - I'm going for the P800; I'm not convinced that it's everything I
want it to be, but as I see it, there's a few key points over other
PDA solutions
- One box
- Decent battery life
- Opera browser
As people say, there are big niggles. I'm *hoping* that the apps
available will eventually be of the range and quality and, most
importantly, *productivity* that I'm used to on my 5mx -
theoretically, given they're both Symbian, and we're starting to see
some reliable old names appearing in the 7650/3650/P800 scene, this
should happen.
However, for now I can see why some people used to Microsoft packages
are deciding they can't get on with theirs, and selling them after a
couple of months.
Anyway, for the many things I want to be able to get out of a PDA and
a phone, while it may not be perfect, it's definitely enough.
