    Hi!

My phone worked fine till today. I put it on charger over night. I turned it
on at 10am and then I noticed that after about 6 hrs battery was down to
40%. Normally it should be 90%. I put it on charge again and then I turned
on my PC and found out that it can't connect with my phone. The router
starts to connecting but that's it. Then I tried to turn on the IR. Nothing!
After I press "done" nothing happens. It returns to control panel but
there's no sign of IR connection. BT also doesn't work. When I try to turn
it on it freezes the control panel, I can switch to aplication list but not
to phone. And it can't be turned off normally: I have to hold down the power
    button for 10s.
I did the master reset and it didn't help. Any advice would be appriciated!

uh oh... that is a problem. have it flashed @ your nearest SE service
point. the software must have been corrupted or something.

The phone may be locked up, and you may not even know it...(sometimes
bluetooth or something will lock up the phone, and even though something has
crashed, it will NOT display the 10sec reset animation) I have noticed too
that when the phone crashes or displays and error that the battery gets
really hot, and the power consumption goes way, way up...I think that is the
phones way of resetting itself if you are not around to do it...it just uses
up all its power and then shuts off by itself..

Press and hold down the power button on the side, and keep it pressed for at
least 10 seconds....then try and restart your phone...

    See if the problem persists....

    Re: P800- Broken or what?

A friend of mine started two apps at the same time. Both of them were
commpressed with "stacker". One was about 1MB and the other was MGS with
three games installed. The phone mannaged to start both of them but then it
froze. So I've done the 10s reset and everything seemd normal. It was 11PM
so I put it on charge and went to sleep. -see my firs post-

I didn't want to get it flashed untill I found out what happened. Some how
the part of the firmware that is used for BT (and obviously for all other
types of communication) was ereased. The phone itself said "error 1 occured"
when I tried to check out the firmware revision in service mode. It has
been flashed to R2F and now works fine.

And now I want to now what happens if I format internal disk. I would like
to make a completly new system now when I know what apps do I need and use.
Will it somehow affect the firmware (though I think it's in ROM drives), or
just delete that "registry" info of all apps that were on the phone?
And I need a confirmation that CDA part of the firmware is unavailable to
    see on R2F.

    Thanks!

If you format the internal drive through the system menu, it
completely wipes the internal filesystem and reloads it from the
flashROM on the next boot. It will return everything to as if you
just got it from the factory.

I just did mine the other day to completely clean it out and get it
    back to "fresh" settings.
