Trying to use the WAP configurator on the SE UK website.
But what is the international dialling code for the UK? Is it 44?
If so, is the example they provide totally accurate? They say a number
should be:
+(international dialling code)(your number) -- but minus the last digit?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Dan

If your number is for example (07977) 123456, it would become +447977123456

This is what I thought. So why does the example on the website say:
Note: you must enter the number in 'international' format - a '+' sign
followed by your country code. E.g. Swedish number 0701234567 is entered
+4670123456.

Not sure what you are getting at Dan. The example you've given here is
exactly the same as I gave you originally.

No it's not. In their example the Swedish number has its last digit "7"
missing.
So it would be +44(your mobile number minus its last digit) according to
them.
Anyway, I've tried it both ways and I don't get anything sent to my phone by
Ericsson.

K, now I see what you're getting at. Just drop the 0 from the area code and
leave the rest of the number intact.

I can confirm it works fine with my Vodafone number. Best of all, the new
wap settings allow the home page to be changed and now the button on the
side of the phone points to a different site to the Live! button on the
front.
