Is it possible to use the wap on my P800 and the cradle to access the
internet?
If not, does anyone know if 0845 comes out of o2 onlin's free minutes?

I don't know about the cradle, but you can via a serial cable,
infra-red, or (my preference) Bluetooth. See SE's website and the link
below. Also, your connection will be via GPRS, not WAP. Wireless
Application Protocol is what is used to provide content for mobile
devices that do not support HTML whereas the General (or GSM) Packet
Radio System is the wireless data network infrastructure used by GSM
