Ok ive got a T300 and a IRDA usb dongle now what??!!

I have just bought a IRDA usb dongle for my T300 and now im lost, I cant get
the connectivity software to download from the sony ericsson site and i cant
find software anywhere else for it. I want to send ringtones and backgrounds
etc to my phone but cant get feck all to work. Any info/help would be
greatly appreciated.

If you have windows 2000, or windows XP, just plug the adapter and check
if it is recognized, if not you'll have to install the adapter drivers
and try again...

When the adapter is fully recognized you'll only have to turn T300 IR on
and put it close to the adapter, and then a window will open to allow
you to send/receive files... No need for any other transfer software, at
least with those "operating systems" :-|

In case you have linux say it and I'll post you some instructions.

Hello, Thanks for your reply. I am using windows ME at the moment as my main
pc is dead. I have installed the drivers for the IRDA device and turrned the
phones IR on but nothing else happens. I did buy one of those "super cd's"
off ebay and tried some of the software off that but cant seem to get
anything to work
