R8a015 is the latest. Includes several new games, but apart from that,
    can't see much difference.

Check your firmware version. I sent my in and the firmware that it came back
with was R7A013 which of course is NOT the lastest available. No new games
    were installed.

The extra games are only on R8A015, and are not there on any other version,
    even other R8A versions.

I can't see how you could stipulate having the latest firmware as a
condition of sale, but if the phone is under warranty, and you are having
problems with it, then it should be free to have it upgraded by an Ericsson
    Service Centre.

As for the new games, I don't have an older firmware T68i at hand to compare
it with, so I'll just tell you what all the games in R8A015 are:-

Arimona, Ballpop, Contrary, Erix, Four Piles, Naval Fleet, North Territory,
Path, Q, Pulldown, Tennis & Yukon Struggle.

Sorry, it's my wording, i've sent my phone to be repaired at the moment
because it's falty (it keeps retarting then crashing). what i was trying to
say was, are they meant to upgrade the phone's firmware aswell? so if the
phone comes back with none upgraded firmware, should i send it back to be
    upgraded?

Depends on whether the fault was caused by the firmware. Contrary to
popular belief, no manufacturer is obliged to upgrade your firmware just
because they have released a newer version - however, many will upgrade
within warranty, and if they're being awkward about it, just tell them that
you are having a problem with whatever & have been told that a firmware
upgrade will fix it (this usually does the trick).
